Many times we don’t think how amazing is to be able to walk and move around. About 50 million Americans have a disability according to the US Census Bureau (about 1 in 5 of us). Roughly 40 Million of those with disabilities need NO ASSISTANCE to carry out their daily activities. Do you have what it takes to live independently with a disability? Students from the medical school at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine will help you go through a wheelchair obstacle course and learn more about the challenges which 3 million people in the United States face every day.
