Thank you!

Overwhelming response!

Hello all,

Well, registration opened for KTU at 11 am on Dec. 1. and by noon we had 65 enrolled children. This is really exciting!! We have had such an overwhelming response for the program that we had to close the program early; with a waiting list for interested parents.

Thank you!

Hello, great KTU publicity and registration news!

My name is Kristy DiVittorio and I will be blogging about the Kids' Tech University program! I am happy to answer any questions you may have (you can email me at kdivitto@vbi.vt.edu). Again, the purpose of the blog is to give updates, news about the program and highlights of the behind the scenes action of KTU!

The momentum for KTU is going strong! It's exciting to hear how the community has responded to this program. Parents, volunteers and news companies have picked up on the story. I've been getting a lot of emails from parents about how they can register their child for the program. We are still on target for a Dec. 1, 2008, 11 am launch of enrollment for the program on the website. The registration form is an online form (isn't technology great!) with a required health history form that will need to be downloaded and submitted at the first attended day of the program.

KTU has received some wonderful positive media press. Below is a list of the news media sources that have picked up on KTU:

Last Wednesday, the innovator who spearheaded the KTU program, Dr. Reinhard Laubenbacher, was interviewed for a news blurb on a local Roanoke radio station, WFIR!
